Excursion 1.: Monuments and legends of the 12 century
After this one day excursion, you will know the most important monuments of Prague situated on both sides of the Vltava river. Step by step we will walk through the New Town which was founded in the 13th century. This is where the vibrant Wenceslas Square and the dignified National Theatre are situated. We will see the Old Town and its famous Astronomical Clock and historical building of the czech‘s oldest university. In the former jewish quarter, you will have the opportunity to see the oldest active synagogue in Europe and admire the historical cemetery.
After making our way across the river, we will see the highlights of the Lesser Town: the miraculous Holy Infant of Prague and barroque pearl: St. Nicholas church. Finaly we climb to the Castle hill , where the offices of the czech president and monumental St. Vitus cathedral are situated. And as a bonus, the trully breath-taking view of down town Prague! Of course you won’t miss the medieval Charles bridge and the typical lunch in one of the Prague pubs!

Excursion 2: The jewish monuments of Prague
In the middle ages, the jewish community of Prague became well known all around Europe. What kind of life-style did they lead? The excursion of the former jewish society will show you all the synagogues, the Old cemetery, former town-hall and also the ceremonial hall of the Burial Society.
Duration 2,5 hours
This excursion is not held on Saturdays and jewish holidays.
Excursion 3: Vyšehrad – myths and reality
The ancient fort situated on the steep rock over the Vltava river, is connected with many legends about foundation of Prague which still fascinates new and old-comers. In the middle ages it was a temporary seat of our kings, later it turned into a military base with an ingenious fortification system. Since the 19th century it has been a calm park with the dominant church of St. Peter and Paul(location of the church in reference to the park?). On the tour we will visit the true jewel - the National Cemetery, where important personalities like A. Mucha, A. Dvorak or B. Smetana were burried. We will not miss the mysterious interior of the fortification and at last, we will appreciate the magnificent view!

Excursion 4: Following the royal steps – Prague Castle
The Prague Castle is unique among other worldly famous castles because of its history and exceptionally large size. In its vast area there are many ecclesiastic and secular buildings with interesting stories to tell. Beside the monuments, we will discover the hidden corners and the adjacent gardens.

Excursion 5: Troja Chateau and St. Clair Vineyard
The picturesque Baroque castle Troja in Prague belongs to the less known, however
fascinating sights of the capital. Located on the banks of the Vltava river,
it is surrounded by elegant gardens with a maze. The building is currently part
of the Municipal Gallery of Prague, thus the visitor sees in the ornate rooms not
only the rich fresco decoration, but also many famous Czech painters of the 19th century,
such as Vaclav Brozik , Josef Navratil, Antonin Chittussi or Mikolas Ales. On the opposite
hill there is situated the romantic St. Clair Vineyard. From the terrace of the local bodega,
tasting the Czech wine, we will enjoy the extraordinary view of Prague!

This tour takes place only from April to September, in October it includes only the Chateaux, without the vineyard.
Excursion 6: Prague at night
It seems that there exists one Prague during the day, with the city streets crowded by tourists, and another Prague at night, peaceful and romantic. Time, when the old legends come back to life. The walk will lead through the historical neighbourhood Hradčany, where the Strahov Monastery and Loretto are situated. The area of Prague Castle we will be almost empty, so we can take the advantage of the illuminated Cathedral and Golden Lane. Then we will head to the Lesser Town, Charles Bridge and Old Town. After reaching the Old Town Square, we can sit in some of the historical pubs.
